The legendary alchemist Neachdainn, now buried at Brigadoom Castle, wants you to show him all of the hero Erdrick's equipment, which is hidden around the world. Use alchemy to restore the five items and show them to Neachdainn.
Prerequisites: Beat the game, DLC downloaded, Quest #169 Competition Commission completed.

- Head to Brigadoom, located northwest of Zere, and interact with the gravestone in the northeast section. The ghost of the alchemist Neachdainn will appear, asking if you can show him all five pieces of Erdrick's equipment, which have to be restored with alchemy. He gives you the rusty gauntlets to get started.
The legendary alchemist Neachdainn has asked you to use alchemy to restore all five of Erdrick's items. You received some rusty gauntlets. You can apparently make Erdrick's items using orichalcum and plenty of glass frit.
- You will need all five pieces of rusty equipment, as well as five pieces of orichalcum, and a total of 45 pinches of glass frit to alchemise everything.
- The rusty sword is found in a red treasure chest at the Realm of the Mighty. If you need to return there to get it, use Sterling's whistle to call the Starflight Express and try to disembark anywhere, but select "No". This will give you the option to return to the Realm of the Almighty. Speak to Celestria there and she can send you back to the final dungeon.
- The rusty shield is received as a reward for completing Quest #49: Rock On!.
- The rusty armour is received as a reward for the first-time completion of Quest #177: Tones of the Bones.
- The rusty helmet is received as a prize from Cap'n Max Meddlin' in Dourbridge for turning in 62 Mini medals to him.
- Glass frit can be collected from Djust Desert and the Wyrmwing, as well as dropped or stolen from Cyclowns, Power hammers, and Parched peckerels.
- Orichalcum can be received from Cap'n Max Meddlin' in exchange for 15 mini medals each after you've turned in 80 to him, has a chance to be found in Rank 9 (A) and Rank 10 (S) blue treasure chests in grottoes, dropped rarely by Metal king slimes and Gem slimes, as well as received as a reward for completing certain quests.
- Once you have collected all the necessary materials, head to the Krak Pot in Stornway to combine them. Each piece of rusty equipment will need a lump of orichalcum and nine pinches of glass frit each.
- Go back to the grave stone in Brigadoom once you've alchemised all of Erdrick's equipment and show them to Neachdainn's spirit. Afterwards, his granddaughter Veronica appears to show you Neachdainn's notebook and give you a reward. Naturally, you will be allowed to keep all of the equipment.
Reward: Agate of evolution, recipes for Nebula sword, Stud poker, Darting dagger, Shining staff, Mega Gringham whip, Senseless stick, Dragovian claws, Overcritical fan, Maxi axe, Earthsplitter, Asterang, and Archangel's bow.
