167 Who's a Pretty Boy?
Graham the Bird, who lives on the island just north of the Cringle Coast, wants you to bring him some treasure from a bird of terrordise. It sounds like you'll need to be persistent, as apparently they don't drop it too often.
Prerequisites: Beat the game, DLC downloaded, Quest #39: Follow that Fish! completed.
Repeatable? No.
- At Swinedimples Academy, use Sterling's whistle to fly the Starflight Express to the island to the north surrounded by shoals. Enter the field south of the cabin and speak to the bird near the barrel and boxes. He wants you to bring him some treasure from a bird of terrordise.
- Birds of terrordise can only be found in the high level fire-type grotto maps. The grotto calculator will let you know if your treasure map is high enough level to encounter them. Treasure maps with the words Crater, Dungeon, and Void are guaranteed to be fire-type grottoes. Your main character should be a very high level or have revocated at least once to start acquiring higher level treasure maps.
- If you have a very high level fire-type treasure map, you should be able to encounter birds of terrordise in the first few floors. Otherwise, they can be encountered starting on the ninth floor of a grotto.
- Birds of terrordise have 648 HP, are very weak to Ice-elemental attacks, and can breathe out powerful fire breath. You may have to defeat a few in battle before eventually acquiring both the Jewellery box and a Terrordise tail feather at the end of battle.
- Once you have received the items, leave the grotto and return to the island off Cringle Coast to give them to Graham the Bird.
