163 When a Star Wishes Upon You
Pavo wants you to answer the call of a glistering star, and bring her a prayer pearl. Apparently you can get one from a monster called Excalipurr, who lurks in a grotto somewhere.
Prerequisites: DLC downloaded, 157 Inn for a Penny, Inn for an Inny completed
Repeatable? No.
- At the Quester's Rest in Stornway, speak to Pavo, the female Celestrian, behind the counter. The quest can only be initiated after completing quest #157. The prayer pearl can be obtained by defeating Excalipurr, a boss who appears in high-level grottoes. There are different tools online to see whether a treasure map will have Excalipurr as a boss.
- Excalipurr has 6,600 HP, acts twice per turn, and uses various techniques such as Multislash, Hatchet Man, and Feel the Burn. He is weak to ice-elemental attacks. Protect the party with Kabuff and keep everyone's HP over 450. He will drop the prayer pearl after being defeated.
- Return to Stornway and show the prayer pearl to Pavo at the inn. She will then ask you to deliver the pearl to Celestria in the Realm of the Almighty. After viewing the scene, leave the Realm and Zoom to Angel Falls to visit the guardian statue.
- Speak to Aquila there and he will join the party.
- Return to the Quester's Rest in Stornway and speak to Pavo again to complete the quest.
Reward: Aquila joins the party. He is a level 60 Warrior and comes equipped with an Aurora blade, a White shield, Aquila's armour, Aquila's trousers, and Aquila's boots.
