161 Here With Nod's Tear
Mayoress Daff of Bloomingdale has asked you if you'll go to Gleeba and get her a precious jewel called a Nod's tear from a jeweller there.
Prerequisites: DLC downloaded, 160 Chronic Delay completed
Repeatable? No.
- Head to Bloomingdale and speak to Mayoress Daff, who lives in one of the homes in the eastern part of town near the inn. The quest can only be initiated after completing quest #160. The mayoress will ask you to purchase a Nod's tear from a jeweller in Gleeba.
- Zoom to Gleeba and speak to the merchant wearing a turban next to the item seller. He says that he will give the player a Dragon's tear in exchange for a Crown jewel. The jewel can be acquired by completing a treasure map with "of Fear" in its name that has more than eight floors. The grotto will likely need to be in the Lv. 50 to 60 range to have the required number of floors.
- Defeat the boss at the end of the grotto to obtain the crown jewel. Return to Gleeba and there will be a short scene with a girl named Serena. Speak to the turban-wearing merchant again to turn in the crown jewel and he will give you the dragon's tear in exchange. Head back to Bloomingdale and speak to Mayoress Daff to complete the quest.
