149 Intreeguing Mystery
You've been asked by a researcher who's visiting Bloomingdale to go find out some information about Pluvi Isle, a small island in the sea to the east.
Prerequisites: Beat the game, DLC downloaded, Quest #148: Flaptricide completed.
Repeatable? No.
- At the center of Bloomingdale, near the fountain, speak to the researcher named Rayne to start the quest. He wants you to investigate Pluvi Isle, which is located in the southeast part of the world and the same island you visited in Quest #148 for the Yggdrasil bud.
- Take your ship or the Starflight Express to Pluvi Isle and interact with the sparkly spot at the glowing blue tree. You will be interrupted by a priest named Pluvius who tells you to visit him at Gleeba.
- Zoom to Gleeba and you'll find Pluvius at the church. Speak to him to learn more about the grave on Pluvi Isle and then you can return to speak to Rayne at Bloomingdale again.
Rayne, who is visiting Bloomingdale, asked you to find out about a ghostly tree on Pluvi Isle. According to Father Pluvius of Gleeba, the small grave on the island belongs to a woman who escaped her banishment on the Ondor Cliffs.
- For the next part of the quest, you'll have to visit the Ondor Cliffs, which are located west of Batsureg. You can reach it by sailing your ship northeast of Alltrades Abbey or flying the Starflight Express there. Walk along the western shoreline and you will eventually find a grave with a sparkling spot. Read the inscription and the grave just north of it will begin to glow. After reading the inscription on the second grave, the one north of it will do the same.
- Once you've read the inscriptions on all three graves, Zoom back to Bloomingdale and speak to Rayne the researcher to report your findings.
